Basta Boatlifts is proud to partner with Weissgerber’s Golden Mast Inn in Okauchee, Wisconsin to support its waterfront operations.
Golden Mast Inn operates the 40 ft Okauchee Bay Runner II, offering Thursday music cruises, Sunday cruises, and private rentals for groups of up to 30 guests. With boating playing an important role in its business, having a reliable boat-storage solution is essential.
Weissgerber’s Golden Mast Inn in Wisconsin chose a custom 12,000-lb galvanized steel pontoon lift from Basta Boatlifts to store the Okauchee Bay Runner II between cruises, private events, and everyday use.
The Challenge: Storing a Working Passenger Pontoon
A pontoon that carries up to 30 guests is a different storage problem than a typical family boat. It runs on a regular schedule, it’s loaded and unloaded often, and it can’t spend long stretches sitting in the water between trips. Golden Mast Inn needed a lift that would be strong enough for the boat and easy to use again and again.
The Solution: A Custom Galvanized Steel Pontoon Lift
Golden Mast Inn selected a custom pontoon boat lift from Basta Boatlifts with these specifications:
| Feature | Specification |
| Lift type | Custom pontoon lift |
| Capacity | 12,000 lbs |
| Material | Galvanized steel |
| Guides | Center guides |
| Accessories | Custom Centering and Load Guides |
The Results
The new installation gives Golden Mast Inn a practical storage solution for the Okauchee Bay Runner II. Lifting the pontoon out of the water helps reduce prolonged water exposure while keeping the boat ready for its regular schedule of cruises and private events.
