You want to align the center of mass with the center of the lift frame. This may look differently for different types of boats, and is not always the same as visual center. See the images before, and in your owners manual, to gauge where your boat type should sit on the lift. If you commonly struggle with parking your boat on the lift, you should consider purchasing centering guides or a bow guide to help!
